Terms of Service

Please take your time to read these terms of service governing the booking of Liz Wenman for all consultations.

  • Please be respectful and ensure your horse is in a suitable place for treatment. This includes being a clean, peaceful setting, with no trip or slip hazards or low beams. Good lighting is necessary.
  • In compliance with the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966 and the Exemption clause order 2015, it is necessary to have your horse’s Vets consent to treat your horse before the first treatment is given.
  • If you are late for your appointment this time may be docked from the consultation time.
  • If your horse presents with an undiagnosed lameness or other painful condition on the day of treatment, it will not be possible to deliver the treatment and the horse will be referred back to your vet.
  • If for whatever reason, including lack of veterinary consent, it is not safe or appropriate to treat your horse at the appointment, then you will be changed 50% of the fee for the call out and initial
  • If you are in any doubt of the health of your horse, please contact Liz Wenman with at least 48hrs notice. Normal cancellation conditions will apply if sufficient notice is not given.
  • Liz Wenman shall not be liable to any injury or damage howsoever caused to your horse or property during a consultation, including but not limited to any claim arising from any condition of your horse that is diagnosed or undiagnosed, other than in respect of damage or injury caused as a result of negligence.
  • Liz Wenman reserves the right to cancel or change any session due to unforeseen circumstances such as personal illness, equine biohazards or transport tissues. Liz will make do her upmost to contact you as soon as possible if such matters occur and a full refund will be issued.
  • On receipt of invoice, you are required to make payment via bank transfer, with late payments being charged at 7% per annum with an additional administration fee of £35.
  • If an appointment is cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice, a charge will be incurred equal to 50% of the full consultation fee.
  • Reports are available for other equine health practitioners and your insurance company on request.
  • These terms of service are governed by English law and any disputes a rinsing in connection with them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
  • Liz Wenman may change or update these terms and conditions at any time.
